Schweres, farbloses Glas, teilvergoldet. Rundfuß mit Kerbschliffstern, facettierter geschliffener Schaft, mehrfach abgestuft. Konische Kuppa im unteren Teil massiv, darin sieben eingestochene Luftperlen. Schauseitig auf der facettierten Wandung ein erhabenes Rundmedaillon, dieses mit reliefiertem goldenen Monogramm "FR" zwischen Trophäen mit Fahnen, Kanonen und Gewehren. Minimal berieben. Höhe 18,7 cm. Schön erhalten.
Aus der Gräflich Schaffgotsch'schen Josephinenhütte, Schreiberhau, Formentwurf Alexander Pfohl. Im Jahr 1912 wurde der 200. Geburtstag Friedrichs des Großen (Fredericus Rex) gefeiert. Aus diesem Anlass gab Kaiser Wilhelm II. diese Gläser bei der Josephinenhütte in Auftrag.

Emperor Wilhelm II - a red wine glass from the large Prussian service, circa 1912
Heavy, colourless glass, partially gilt. The round foot with a notch cut star, faceted, polished stem, several tiers. The lower section of the conical bowl made of solid glass, containing seven inserted air bubbles. The front of the faceted bowl bearing a raised circular medallion with a gold monogram "FR" in relief, amidst trophies with flags, cannons and guns. Minimal rubbing. Height 18.7 cm. In beautiful condition.
From the Gräflich Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte glassworks in Schreiberhau, design by Alexander Pfohl. The 200th birthday of Frederick the Great (Fredericus Rex) was celebrated in 1912. To mark the occasion, Kaiser Wilhelm II commissioned the Josephinenhütte to produce these glasses.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
