Das feine Seidentuch altersbedingt partiell geschlissen mit umlaufender silberner Seidentresse am Übergang zum (fehlenden) Rock. Das darunter liegende Korsett in den Maßen der Kaiserin mit 13 innen eingenähten Stangen aus Fischbein sowie Stempelung "Privatfond I.K.K. Majestät" mit Doppeladler im Bereich des Dekolletés. Das seidene Taillenband mit goldener Bezeichnung "Mme Gille - Robes & Manteaux - 8 Rue des Ecuries d'Artois". Im Rücken 13 wechselseitig angebrachte Verschlusshaken und -ösen, das darüber liegende Seidentuch mit drei weiteren Verschlüssen. Die gebauschten Schultern aus etwas dunklerer Seide mit hellem Blütendekor, die Nähte teils gelöst. Ansonsten in schöner Erhaltung.
Provenienz: Aus einer deutschen Privatsammlung stammend.
The fine silk cloth somewhat frayed in places due to age, with a silver silk braid around the lower edge to attach to the skirt (not included). The underlying corset tailored to the Empress' measurements, with 13 whalebone reinforcements sewn into the lining, and stamped "Privatfond I.K.K. Majestät" with a double-headed eagle at the décolleté. The silk waistband labelled in gold "Mme Gille - Robes & Manteaux - 8 Rue des Ecuries d'Artois". 13 pairs of hooks and eyes sewn on at the back, the top layer of silk cloth with three additional fasteners. The puffed shoulders in slightly darker silk with light-coloured floral decoration, some of the seams coming undone. Otherwise in beautiful condition.
