Gold, das funktionstüchtige Uhrwerk rubingelagert, der Rückseitendeckel mit Punze "14" (Karat?) und wie der Staubdeckel mit der Nummer "6965", der vordere Deckel mit überaus fein graviertem Monogramm "E" unter der portugiesischen Königskrone des Täuflings, innen die Nummer "965". Weißes Emaille-Ziffernblatt mit römischen Ziffern und kleiner Sekunde auf der "VI", goldene Zeiger, der Glasdeckel fehlt. Der Hals der Aufzugskrone seitlich mit Wiener Einfuhrpunze für Goldwaren von 1872 bis 1902. Außendurchmesser 35 mm, Höhe 47 mm, Gewicht 32,93 g.
In weinrotem Etui, das maßgefertigte Interieur mit violettem Samtbezug, im weißen Seiden-Deckel lesbare Reste der goldenen Bezeichnung "F. Baumann K.u.K. Hof-Uhrmacher" (in Wien) unter dem Doppeladler. Innen wie außen mit Abnutzungsspuren.
Einliegend ein Klebeetikett (noch auf Folie) mit handschriftlicher Bezeichnung von Prinzessin Maria Ferdinande "Fernanda" von Thurn und Taxis (1927 - 2018), der jüngsten Tochter von Fürst Franz Josef von Thurn und Taxis und Elisabeth de Braganza, "Uhr Geschenk v. Kaiserin Elisabeth an Taufkind Elisabeth v. Braganca".
Die am 19.11.1894 in Kleinheubach/Bayern geborene Elisabeth Maria de Braganza war als Tochter des im österreichischen, später deutschen Exil lebenden portugiesischen Thronprätendenten Miguel de Braganza (1853 - 1927) von Geburt an Infanta de Portugal. Sie heiratete am 23.11.1920 den Fürsten Franz Josef von Thurn und Taxis (1893 - 1971) und verstarb 1970 in Regensburg.
Provenienz: Prinzessin Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis (1894 - 1970), vererbt an ihre Tochter Fernanda von Thurn und Taxis (1927 - 2018), vererbt an ihren Neffen, den heutigen Eigentümer. Eine entsprechende Provenienzbestätigung liegt vor.

Gold, the fully functional jewelled movement with rubies, the rear cover stamped with the hallmark "14" (carat?) and, like the dust cover, the number "6965", the finely engraved monogram "E" below the Portuguese royal crown of the recipient on the front lid, the number "965" on the inside. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and the small second hand on the "VI", gold hands, the glass lid has been lost. The neck of the winding crown stamped on the side with the Viennese import mark for gold between 1872 and 1902. Outside diameter 35 mm, height 47 mm, weight 32.93 g. In a burgundy presentation case, the customised interior lined in violet velvet, legible remnants of the gold inscription "F. Baumann K.u.K. Hof-Uhrmacher" (in Vienna) below the double-headed eagle in the white silk lid. Traces of use both inside and outside.Inside, an adhesive label (still on its plastic film) with the note "Uhr Geschenk v. Kaiserin Elisabeth an Taufkind Elisabeth v. Braganca" handwritten by Maria Ferdinande "Fernanda" Princess of Thurn and Taxis (1927 - 2018), the youngest daughter of Franz Josef, 9th Prince of Thurn and Taxis and Elisabeth de Braganza. Born on 19 November 1894 in Kleinheubach/Bavaria as the daughter of Miguel de Braganza (1853 - 1927), the pretender to the Portuguese throne, who was living in exile first in Austria, later in Germany, Elisabeth Maria de Braganza was Infanta de Portugal by birth. She married Franz Josef, 9th Prince of Thurn and Taxis (1893 - 1971) on 23 November 1920 and died in Regensburg in 1970.
Provenance: Princess Elisabeth of Thurn and Taxis (1894 - 1970), bequeathed to her daughter Fernanda of Thurn and Taxis (1927 - 2018), bequeathed thereafter to her nephew, the current owner. A provenance certification is included to this effect.
