Zwölf gedruckte Visitenkarten "Kapitänleutnant Otto Weddigen - Kommandant von U9". Paradefeldbinde mit Koppelschloss, separates Koppelschloss in hervorragender Erhaltung, Säbelportepee, goldgestickte Mützenkokarde, Rangabzeichen Seeoffizier, diverse Ärmelstreifen der kaiserlichen Marine. Ein ovales, querbroschiertes Silberabzeichen ("830", "H&S") mit Chiffre "W II" unter Königskrone auf schwarzem Emaille. Silberbecher mit Resten der innenseitigen Vergoldung und schauseitiger Gravur "Ihrem lieben Kameraden Weddigen die Fähnrichsmesse S.M.S. 'Wittelsbach' 15. September 1904", im Boden Feingehaltspunze "830 WTB" und Nummer "7192", Höhe 925 mm, Gewicht 107 g. Leeres Etui zum Eisernen Kreuz 1914 1. Klasse, das Futter aus weißer Seide und violettem Samt, auf dem Deckel silbern gedrucktes EK. Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse, mit kurzem Bandabschnitt in Etui mit Druckknopfverschluss, dieser außen mit Perlmutt verziert. Urkunden zu dem posthum verliehenen U-Bootskriegsabzeichen vom 6. Oktober 1918 bzw. dem an die Witwe Irma Prencke (vormals Weddigen) verliehenen Ehrenkreuz für Witwen vom 21.6.1935, dazu die Auszeichnung mit Bandabschnitt. Meissen-Teller "U-9", Durchmesser 25,5 cm. Sechs Bücher, teils mit Namensbezeichnung Irma Weddigen, "Otto Weddigen - Ein Lebensbild von Heinrich Richter", "Seefahrt ist Not - Ein Roman von Gorch Fock", zwei Ausgaben "Otto Weddigen und seine Waffe", einmal mit Widmung "Johanna Weddigen Weihnachten 1915", "Deutsches Flottenbuch - Erlebnisse eines See-Kadetten in Krieg und Frieden" 1899 und "Klar zum Gefecht! - Unsere blauen Jungen im Weltkriege 1914/15". Dazu einige Postkarten mit den Ehrentafeln für "U 29" bzw. "Der letzte Mann bei den Falklandinseln", U 9, U 10 und U 12 im Hafen, "Weddigen-Geburtshaus", zwei kolorierte Karten mit Weddigen-Portrait bzw. der Ehrentafel für U 29 sowie eine "Chronik des Seeoffizier-Jahrgangs 1908" aus dem Jahr 1958 mit handschriftlichen Ergänzungen zu den Biographien der Offiziere, dazwischen eingelegt Karten, Briefe oder auch Todesanzeigen der Offiziere.
Aus dem Nachlass der früh verwitweten Irma Weddigen und ihrer Familie. Nur rund ein halbes Jahr bevor Otto Weddigens U 29 am 15. März 1915 von HMS Dreadnought gerammt wurde und in der Folge mit der gesamten Besatzung versank, heiratete er seine Jugendliebe Irma Prencke.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
