Rahmenvisier mit Markierungen "3-11". Links an der Hülse mit Firmierung "GEBR. MAUSER & Co OBERNDORF". Nahezu vollständige, originale Brünierung von Lauf mit Systemhülse, Beschlägen, Abzugsblech und Kolbenkappe. Verschluss blank. Nussholz-Vollschaft mit Lager und Gebrauchsspuren. Das System ist ein verkürztes System 1871/84, Systemhülsenlänge 145mm, Schloss insgesamt 179mm lang. Laut Patronenlagerabguss Hülsenlänge 47 mm, Feld-/Zugdurchmesser 10,0/10,4mm. Ansonsten weist die Waffe starke Ähnlichkeit mit dem Kavalleriekarabiner Mauser-Koka Mod. 1884 auf, Vergleiche Hermann-Historica, Auktion 90, Los 2711. Vermutlich handelt es sich um eine Muster- oder Versuchswaffe, die in verkürztem Kaliber gefertigt wurde, Länge der Waffe 104 cm. Rarität ersten Ranges, so noch nicht im Handel gesehen.

Cal. 10x47R Förster, SN. 1, the number "1" on the trigger bar apart no serial numbers. Barrel length 55 cm, bright bore, four lands/grooves. Tubular magazine for eight rounds. Rear sights graduated "3-11". The left of the receiver marked "GEBR. MAUSER & Co OBERNDORF". Original finish of barrel, chamber area, fittings, trigger guard and butt cap > 98%. Polished bolt. Walnut stock with signs of wear. This rifle features a shortened Mauser 1871/84 system, the receiver only 145mm long, the overall length of the lock 179mm. Cartridge dimensions according to a chamber cast: case length 47 mm, groove/land distance 10,0/10,4mm. Cartridge dimensions apart this rifle looks very much like the cavalry carbine Mauser Koka Mod. 1884, see Hermann Historica auction 90, lot 2711. This is most likely a trial gun, built in a shortened calibre. Overall length 104 cm. Extremely rare, never seen on offer to date!

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
