In Farbe und Form reduzierte Abstraktion mit weißen Flächen und einer zentralen Kreisform, eingerahmt und durchdrungen von rottonigen, feinen Linien. Charakteristisches Blatt Bohrmanns, der ab 1947 an der Schule für Kunst und Handwerk in Saarbrücken und anschließend bei Willi Baumeister an der Stuttgarter Akademie studierte. 1959-1972 war der Künstler in München ansässig. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Komponist und der Malerei, Grafik und Fotografie schuf Bohrmann vor allem ein umfangreiches zeichnerisches Werk, das sich stets zwischen Abstraktion und Figuration bewegte. Seine Motive - Figuren, Landschaften und Stillleben - werden in zahlreichen Variationen immer wieder aufgegriffen, ohne sich jedoch zu wiederholen. Ein wesentliches Merkmal seiner Arbeiten ist die Auseinandersetzung mit Räumlichkeit, die durch ein spannungsreiches Zusammenspiel von Linien und Flächen gekennzeichnet wird, wie dies auch im vorliegenden Blatt deutlich in Erscheinung tritt.
