1927. Aquarellierter Holzschnitt. 47 x 31,5 cm. R. u. mit Bleistift sign. und dat. K. Lorenz 27, unter Passepartout und Glas gerahmt, ungeöffnet. - Deutscher Künstler, Schriftsteller und Verleger. L. war als Künstler Autodidakt, der Hamburgischen Sezession trat er 1919 als Autor bei. 1924 gründete er den Verlag 'Turmpresse', was bereits 1933 zu Repressalien von Seiten der Nationalsozialisten führte. Im Rahmen der Aktion 'Entartete Kunst' wurden 1937 mehrere seiner Werke u.a. aus der Hamburger Kunsthalle entfernt. 1927. Watercolour over woodcut. 47 x 31,5 cm. Lo. ri. autographed and dat. K. Lorenz 27, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German artist, writer and publisher. L. was a self-taught artist and joined the Hamburg Secession as an author in 1919. In 1924 he founded the publishing house 'Turmpresse', which led to reprisals by the National Socialists as early as 1933. As part of the 'Degenerate Art' campaign, several of his works were removed from the Hamburger Kunsthalle in 1937. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
