1955. Öl/Lw. 68 x 101 cm. L. u. sign. und dat. K. P. Röhl 55. Min. besch. - Deutscher Maler, Zeichner und Graphiker. R. studierte an der Kunstgewerbeschule Kiel sowie an den Akademien Berlin und Weimar, u.a. bei F. Mackensen und A. Egger-Lienz. 1919-21 war er Meisterschüler am Bauhaus. Von ihm stammt der Entwurf des ersten Bauhaus-Signets, und 1922 hielt Theo van Doesburg sein De-Stijl-Seminar in R.s Atelier. 1926 nahm er eine Stelle als Lehrer an der Städelschule Frankfurt an, wo er von den Nationalsozialisten 1942 entlassen wurde. Ab 1946 war er in Kiel ansässig. In den 20er Jahren setzte R. sich intensiv mit 'De Stijl' auseinander; später wandte er sich einer gegenständlichen Malerei zu. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
