Kawano Tetsutô is one of the most influential poets and scholars of the Edo period. To his teachers included Kakusen, Somekawa Seigan and Shirotani Junji. By his father to read forced, he studied in the very young age of six years, the Teachings of Confucius and already at the age of 11 years, bossed it poems, the '100 Sanyoshi'.
