One page (136 x 86mm), postmark dated July 23 1960; small marginal tears and light soiling.

"Tonight I walk Frisco alone again, wine in coat, to Chinatown." A jovial note, describing clouds in Iowa that appeared to be kissing and saying he will write in September. Kerouac rode the California Zephyr west to California from Chicago, where he would summer with Ferlinghetti at Big Sur.
