First French edition with good impression of the plates of this treatise on sea urchins and marine fossils by Jacob Theodor Kelin, German naturalist, secretary of the Republic of Gdansk and member of the Royal Society of London, who owned one of the richest cabinets of natural history in Europe. This treatise, adorned with a portrait of the author and 28 plates engraved by Maisonneuve, was one of the main on the subject until the 19th-century.
8vo (200 x 125mm). Half-title, frontispiece with engraved portrait of the author, title with printer's device, 28 full-page engraved plates, headpieces, initials and tailpieces in woodcut (a few small spots). Contemporary half calf on decorated blue paper, spine decorated in gilt with leather inserts, red edges.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
