NICHOLAS OF MYRA WITH A MASSIVE SILVER PARCEL-GILT AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL OKLAD Russian, 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, 1888 (oklad) Tempera on wood panel with velvet backing. Overlaid with richly chased silver parcel-gilt oklad. The borders repoussé with foliate scrolls. With champlevé enamelled name plaque. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'FZ' in Cyrillic. Partially restored. 24.5 x 19.5 cm.
