Small tin Cup with stepped foot, the stem in the Form of a seated lion worked. The bulbous goblet look side engraved with the emblem of the Guild of the cloth clipper in leaf wreath, with Dating 1669. Stepped lid, the disc knob will be lost. On the side of the lip beaten United the city - and usually the brand of the tin-founder Georg Wilhelm Werlin, from 1652 as a tin foundry masters in Ulm. Part dented. Height 28.5 cm. Provenance: Formerly the Museum of the city of Ulm. This piece is in Hintze, volume III, No. 138a listed. Condition: II -
