Die Teppiche aus Sarab sind zumeist in langen Galerieformaten bekannt oder auch in grösseren Formaten. Das kleine Brückenformat in breiter Proportion ist daher eher selten. Der Teppich präsentiert sich mit der gebietstypischen Musterung und großen Flächen in kamelhaarfarbener Wolle mit hohem stapeligem Flor. Attraktives Sammlerstück. Ein besonderes Merkmal bildet der unifarbene "Teweru"- Außenfries. Grote-Hasenbalg bildet in seinem grundlgenden Werk von 1924 in Mappe I auf Tafel 25 (55) ein im Knüpfkonzept und in Hinsicht auf die zweitonige Komposition vergleichbares Stück ab und kommentiert: "Die Verwendung von Kamelhaar für Teppiche ist in dieser Gegend uralt." Er betont zudem die Hell- und Dunkelschattierung als typisches Stilkennzeichen. Ebenso beschreibt er den Farbkontrast, der sich auf solchem Farbgrund gestalten lässt, als hervorragend schön. Edwards sortiert diese charakteristische Zweiton-Ästhetik in die Gegend von Malayer in das Dorf Nenej. Ohne Zweifel liegt hier ein Sammlerstück aus persischer Dorfknüpfung von großer Qualität und urtümlichem Charakter vor.
