Rectangular chest made of heavy oak wood planks with iron strap fittings. Look at the lock side, three key tags with key leadership, the middle a Note. Side two movable carrying handles. Hinge Mounted Lid. Original, closed plier locks with the hollow mandrel keys. The Interior is divided by a Central wall into two halves. Dimensions 55 x 97.5 x 54 cm. Typical, in the monasteries, used chest, in which monks and nuns of the access to your property was permitted only to the two of us. With two keys, the four-eyes principle was guaranteed, and there was constant control. Provenance: Formerly collection of the City Museum of Ulm. Condition: II
