Kräftige Rückenklinge mit zweischneidiger Mittelspitze, beidseitig Kehle und Zug sowie Zierätzungen, in denen der bekrönte Adler erscheint. Kräftiges, reich reliefiertes Bügelgefäß aus Bronze mit kleinem runden Stichblatt (Trophäendekor) auf der Terzseite, vollplastischer Löwenkopfknauf, rauer Hirschhorngriff. Schwarze Lederscheide (krakeliert, kleine Risse) mit teilweise integrierten Messingbeschlägen, Öffnung für ein Beimesser (fehlt) und Trageknopf. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 75 cm.

Sturdy, single-edged blade with a double-edged central point, a fuller and groove on each side plus decorative etchings, including the crowned eagle. The sturdy bronze knuckle-bow hilt with lavish relief decoration and a small, circular guard plate (trophy decoration) on the obverse, fully sculptured lion's head pommel, rough staghorn grip. Black leather scabbard (craquelures, small cracks), the brass fittings partially integrated, an aperture for a by-knife (this has been lost) and frog stud. Signs of age and handling. Length 75 cm.
Early hunting hangar in exceptionally fine condition.
