Mundgeblasenes Kristallglas mit achtfach facettierter Wandung und Ziernodus unter dem ausgestellten Ausgießer. Der ebenfalls facettierte Verschluss mit eingestochener Luftblase. Schauseitig geschnittenes Spiegelmonogramm "L" unter der bayerischen Königskrone. Höhe 22,5 cm, mit Verschluss 25 cm. Wohl von der Firma Franz Xaver Thallmaier gefertigt.
Vgl. zwei in der Höhe variierende, in der Form identische Karaffen, jedoch nur mit Königskrone und ohne Spiegelmonogramm verziert, im "König-Ludwig-II.-Museum Herrenchiemsee", Katalog der Bayer. Verwaltung der staatlichen Schlösser, Gärten und Seen, 1986, Katalognummer 25: "Ein Satz Gläser, wohl Fa. Franz Xaver Thallmaier, um 1870".

Mouth-blown crystal glass, the body with eight facets and decorative knob underneath the protruding spout. The equally faceted stopper with embedded air bubble. On the obverse cut mirror monogram "L" underneath the Bavarian royal crown. Height 22.5 cm, with stopper 25 cm. Presumably manufactured by the company Franz Xaver Thallmaier.
Cf. two carafes of identical form and of different heights, but decorated only with the royal crown and without mirror monogram, on display at the "König-Ludwig-II.-Museum Herrenchiemsee", catalogue of the Bavarian Administration of State-owned Palaces, Gardens and Lakes, 1986, catalogue number 25: (tr.) "A set of glasses, presumably by the company Franz Xaver Thallmaier, around 1870".

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
