Hovel: glatter Lauf im Kaliber 16,5 mm, auf der Oberseite Laufschiene, sparsam geschnittenes und graviertes Steinschloss, auf der Schlossplatte signiert. Beschnitzter Vollschaft mit geschnittener und teils durchbrochen gearbeiteter, eiserner Garnitur. Hölzerner Ladestock mit eiserner Dopperplatte. Kolben und Vorderschaft mit repariertem Riss. Länge 158 cm.
Royal Hanover Armoury - two flintlock shotguns by van Walsen/Maastricht and Hovel/Celle, circa 1690/1700
van Walsen: the lightly grooved barrel in 15.5 mm calibre, octagonal at the breech, turning to round after the rear sight. Flintlock with domed lock plate, two-line signature "Van Walsen/a Mastricht", pivotable frizzen. The full stock with modestly chiseled iron furniture. Iron-capped wooden ramrod. The butt with several repairs and a crack in the area of the third ramrod thimble. Length 157 cm.
Hovel: the smooth-bore barrel in 16.5 mm calibre, a barrel rib on the top, modestly chiseled and engraved flintlock, signed on the lock plate. The carved full stock with chiseled iron furniture, openworked in places. Iron-capped wooden ramrod. The butt and forearm with a repaired crack. Length 158 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
