Große französische Louis XV-Carteluhr mit passender Wandkonsole, flächendeckend Marqueterie in Boulletechnik, vermutlich grün unterlegtes Horn mit Messing, Dekor mit Streublümchen und reicher Bronzeapplikation. Das imposante, geschwungene und taillierte Gehäuse, getragen von vier eleganten Volutenfüßen, ist vollständig umrahmt und mit durchbrochenem, blattförmigem, vergoldetem Bronzedekor versehen. Das Uhrengehäuse ruht auf seiner originalen, gleich verzierten Wandkonsole. Dreizehnteiliges Emaillezifferblatt mit römischen und arabischen Ziffern und Schienenminuterie, vergoldete Zeiger.

Messingplatinenuhrwerk, Schlagwerk mit Schlossscheibe mit Glocke unter der Bekrönung. Uhrwerk original aber umgerüstet auf Brocothemmung.

Das Schloss Haimhausen steht in der Gemeinde Haimhausen im Landkreis Dachau. Von jeher Edelsitz, war Haimhausen seit Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts eine Hofmark. Das heutige Schloss wurde anstelle einer älteren Anlage ab 1660 neu erbaut und von 1743 bis 1749 durch François de Cuvilliés den Älteren im Rokokostil umgebaut.
