Golden gestickte Effekten, goldene Mützenkordel an goldenen Ankerknöpfen.

Blue silk lining with damaged/glued cap trapezoid "OKK Wilhelmshaven", inserted paper strip with size indication "58" and barely legible handwritten name inscription "Otto Schulz", brown leather sweatband (dated 1942). Insignia embroidered in gold, gold cap cord on gold anchor buttons.
Otto Schulz (1900- 1974) joined the Imperial Navy as a war volunteer in 1916, became naval lieutenant in June 1918 and was placed at the disposal of the chief of the Baltic and North Sea Naval Stations in 1919. In 1920, he was admitted to the Reichsmarine, became first naval lieutenant in 1922, lieutenant captain in 1929, lieutenant commander in 1935 and frigate captain in 1938. At the onset of the war, he was chief of the defence office at the North Sea Naval Station and general staff officer, became naval captain in 1940, commander of the Naval Defence Unit for Crimea in 1943 and rear admiral in 1944. He was awarded the Knight’s Cross on 17 May 1944 for the evacuation of the Crimea. At the disposal of the Commanding Admiral Black Sea, chief of the Naval Intelligence Department until the end of the war, prisoner of war until 1947.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
