Ein gebrauchter Kontrabassbogen aus der berühmten französischen Bogenbaufamilie Ouchard. Der Bogen ist am Frosch mit „EXPion“ gestempelt. Gegenüberliegend befindet sich der Herstellervermerk „E A OUCHARD Fils“. Der Signatur zufolge wurde der Kontrabassbogen zwischen 1937 und 1940 von Emile Auguste OUCHARD hergestellt und möglicherweise auf einer Weltausstellung (evtl. 1937 in Paris) präsentiert. Es sind diverse Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren sichtbar. Der Bogen war vermutlich ursprünglich mit Frosch und Beinchen für den Obergriff ausgestattet und wurde wohl nachträglich für die deutsche Griffweise umgebaut.

DOUBLE BASS BOW “EXPION” BY EMILE AUGUSTE OUCHARD ET FILS
A used double bass bow from the famous French bow making family Ouchard. The bow is stamped "EXPion" on the stick. Opposite is the maker's note "E A OUCHARD Fils". According to the signature, the double bass bow was made by Emile Auguste OUCHARD between 1937 and 1940 and possibly presented at a world exhibition (possibly 1937 in Paris). Various signs of age and use are visible. The bow was probably originally equipped with a frog and legs for the upper fingering and was probably later modified for the German fingering.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
