Konvolut aus zwei historischen Zupfinstrumenten bestehend aus einer Cister und einer neapolitanischen Mandoline. Beide Instrumente sind etwa 100 Jahre alt, befinden sich vermutlich im Originalzustand und weisen diverse Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren auf.
Die Cister mit ursprünglich 8 Saiten hat einen birnenförmigen Korpus. Die Wirbel gleichen dem modernen System für Gitarren.

Die neapolitanische Mandoline besitzt elegante Einlagen in Form von Schmetterlingen auf der Decke. Die Rückseite ist bauchig, vom Lautenbau inspiriert. Die Stimmwirbel sind aus Knochen. Zwei Saiten fehlen.

CONVOLUTE OF HISTORICAL CITTERN AND NEAPOLITAN MANDOLIN
Set of two historical plucked instruments consisting of a cittern and a Neapolitan mandolin. Both instruments are around 100 years old, most probably in their original condition and show various signs of age and use.
The cittern with originally 8 strings has a pear-shaped corpus. The pegs resemble the modern system for guitars.
Dimensions: Total length: 59.5cm, body length: 30cm, width: 25.5cm, rib height: 7cm.
The Neapolitan mandolin is decorated with elegant inlays in the shape of butterflies on the top. The back is bulbous, inspired by lute making. The tuning pegs are made of bone. Two strings are missing.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
