Deutsche Konzeptkünstlerin. H. studierte an der Hochschule für Bildende Kunst in Hamburg u.a. bei W. Grimm. 1966-68 lebte sie in New York, wo sie mit Künstlern der Minimal Art wie Sol Le Witt in Kontakt kam, deren Streben nach Objektivität, schematischer Klarheit u. Logik auch für das spätere Werk der Künstlerin - beispielsweise in den Zahlenfolgen - bestimmend wurde. 1986 erhielt sie den Edwin Scharff-Preis, 1994 den Lichtwark-Preis. Ihre Werke waren auf der Documenta V bis VII u. XI sowie auf der Biennale Venedig 1982 zu sehen.
