Schweres Schloss aus gewölbtem, vergoldetem Buntmetall, schauseitig reich und erhaben reliefiert, im Zentrum der bekrönte kaiserliche Adler auf Blitzbündel, umrandet von Eichen- und Lorbeerlaub. Rs. geschwärzt, Öse für Koppelriemen, Schließhaken, ohne Futter. Trage- und Altersspuren. Maße 6 x 7,5 cm.

A belt buckle for high officers of the imperial army
Heavy buckle of domed, gilt non-ferrous metal (rubbed), profusely cast in relief on the obverse, the crowned imperial eagle perched on bolts of lightning in the centre surrounded by oak and laurel leaves. On the reverse an eye for the strap, prong, no lining. Signs of wear and age. Dimensions 6 x 7.5 cm.
