Aus sieben getriebenen Platten zusammengenieteter und innenseitig durch verschraubte Metallstreifen verstärkter Teil einer Pferderüstung. Sämtliche Nieten mit fein getriebenen Zierrosetten aus Messing, die drei mittleren Platten, welche das Rückgrat sowie die Oberseite des Gesäßes des Pferdes bedecken, mit geschweiften Rändern, alle Ränder des Kruppers gebördelt und geschnürlt. Befestigungsriemen ergänzt und beschädigt. Innen zwei alte Leinenpolster, um den Druck auf den Pferdekörper zu mildern. Länge 79 cm, Breite 82 cm.
Part of a horse armour formed of seven chased plates riveted together and reinforced on the inside by screw-mounted metal strips. All rivets with finely chased decorative brass rosettes, the three central plates covering the spine and the upper hindquarters of the horse with curved edges, all edges of the croupiere turned and roped. Fastening strap replaced and damaged. On the inside two old linen pads to ease the pressure on the horse’s body. Length 79 cm, width 82 cm.
