Kräftig gewölbter Rundschild mit sichtbarem Hammerschlag und zentral vernietetem kleinen Knauf. Die Nieten zur Befestigung der Schildfesseln in Form von halbplastischen Frauenköpfen aus Messing gearbeitet (einer fehlt). Am passig geschweiften Rand (an einer Stelle leicht gestaucht) umlaufende Futternieten mit blütenförmigen Rosetten aus Messing. Auf der Innenseite umlaufende Reste des Aufputzes, Futter und Schildfesseln nicht erhalten. Durchmesser 58,5 cm, Gewicht 7,63 kg.

Distinctly domed, circular shield with visible hammer marks and a small boss riveted in the centre. The rivets used to fasten the shield grips in the shape of brass female heads in half relief (one has been lost). A row of lining rivets with brass rosettes in the shape of petals along the foil-curved edge (slightly compressed at one point). Remnants of the tassel border on the inner surface, the lining and shield grips have not survived. Diameter 58.5 cm, weight 7.63 kg.
