From a piece of ivory carved. With numerous, fine Shibayama inlays in mother-of-pearl and dyed Horn. The young lady wearing a multi-layered robe with padded, sluggish hem, swinging Sleeves, patterned with blooming Wisteria vines. Over the shoulder she holds a Wisteria branch and also the head covering is a characteristic role for this Dance.

The dance piece is the only one surviving of a group of five, which was first performed in 1826. Fuji musume is until today in the Kabuki popular and also forms part of the repertoire of the dances of the Geisha. Weight 2557g, height 37cm. Signiatur: floor font: Noboyuki signed in seal. State Restored, rubbed and some deposits are missing.
