Large and rare cloisonné enamel ewer. CHINA, 19th c., the body of the pot is on a round base decorated with double lotus. The handle has the shape of a dragon's head. The jeweled knob of the tall lid is connected to the dragon handle by a chain. The spout is also made of metal in the shape of an open dragon's mouth. In colorful cloisonné enamel, the jug is decorated all around with various animals on blue background, the spout is decorated with cloud fond and bats. The metal parts are gold colored. Signs of age and use, the base is bent.
