The objects described range from natural wonders to archaeological artefacts in which the "Cospi code" stands out, an Aztec manuscript now preserved in the Bologna library

Full-page portrait of Cospio, a folding plate depicting the museum, half-title, title-page printed in red and black with the coat of arm of "accademici gelati", woodcut portrait of Prince Ferdinand III Grand Duke of Tuscany in text, numerous illustrations in text, woodcut initials and headpieces (some spotting and browning). Contemporary vellum with manuscript title on spine (front cover partially detached, spine end chipped).
