Lin Yuming wurde an der Canton Academy of Art in Südchina ausgebildet. Es folgten längere Aufenthalte in Japan, die Lin Yuming künstlerisch stark beeinflussten. In seinen Werken vereinen sich poetische Landschaftsmalerei und Charaktermalerei. Diverse Auszeichnungen, u.a. mit dem Tokyo Metropolitan Ueno Art Museum Special Award und dem Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Award.

Lin Yuming attended the Guangzhou Academy of Art in South China. Long stays in Japan followed, which strongly influenced Lin Yuming artistically. His works combine poetic landscape painting and character painting. He has received various awards, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Ueno Art Museum Special Award and the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Award.
