Lineol, Masseausführung, 30er Jahre, 7 cm-Serie. Kaiser Haile Selassie von Äthiopien, Katalognummer 5/3s. Im Oktober 1935 fiel die italienische Armee von Somalia und Eritrea aus nach Abessinien (Äthiopien) ein, der Krieg endete im März 1936. Lineol hat im Jahre 1936-38 zahlreiche Sonderfiguren zum Abessinischen Krieg gefertigt. Besonders Haile Selassie zählt zu den gelungensten Portraitfiguren im Programm. Insgesamt guter Zustand mit leichten Altersspuren und Farbfehlern. Sehr selten.

In October 1935, the Italian Army marched into Abyssinia (Ethiopia) from Somalia and Eritrea. The war ended in March 1936. From 1936 to 1938, Lineol produced a whole series of special figures for the Second Italo-Ethiopian War. Haile Selassie was one of the most successful portrait figures in the programme. Overall in good condition, despite slight signs of age and paint defects. Extremely rare find.
