Bildnis einer jungen, provokant gekleideten Frau, die vor einem Barockbildnis an einer Wand steht. Die Gitana Lita Cabellut studierte Malerei an der Gerrit Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam. Sie arbeitet expressiv auf meist großformatigen Bildformaten. Hierbei entwickelte sie eine sehr individuelle künstlerische Sprache, bei der sie in wandbildartigen Kompositionen fotorealistische Effekte mit einer zeitgenössischen Variation der Freskotechnik verbindet und durch Übermalungen wirkungvoll steigert. In ihren Motiven setzt sie sich mit der Kunst spanischer und niederländischer Meister des Barock auseinander, schildert vom Leben gezeichnete Menschen, die ihre menschliche Größe bewahren; außerdem entstehen Zyklen mit Persönlichkeiten aus Kultur und Wissenschaft wie Frida Kahlo, Coco Chanel, Sigmund Freud, Marilyn Monroe, Billie Holiday und Marie Curie. Nachdem sie ihre Werke ab 1986 in den Niederlanden zeigte, wurde Cabellut insbesondere seit 2011 durch Einzelausstellungen in der international agierenden Opera Gallery bekannt und zu einer der gefragtesten Künstlerinnen der Gegenwart. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
