Sechs abstrakte Entwurfstudien Schreyers, der sich seit seiner Studienzeit - er studierte Jura und Kunstgeschichte in Heidelberg, Berlin und Leipzig - mit den Fragen des Theaters und der Kunst auseinandersetzte und autodidaktisch zu malen begann. 1911-1918 arbeitete er als Dramaturg und Regieassistenz am Deutschen Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. 1914 begann seine Zusammenarbeit mit Herwarth Walden, dem Leiter der Galerie "Sturm" in Berlin, die 1918 in der gemeinsamen Gründung der "Sturm-Bühne" gipfelte. 1921 wurde Schreyer dann als Meister und Leiter der Bühnenklasse ans Bauhaus in Weimar berufen. In dieser Zeit entstanden die vorliegenden Entwürfe. Aquarellfarben und Bleistift/Papier. Jeweils sign., dat. 1920 bzw. 1922 sowie mit zahlreichen, handschriftlichen Vermerken. Je mit rotem Stempel "Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar" sowie verso mit gestempelter (Archiv-)Nummer 70/73031 und "Gand. 15". Blattmaße 17,1-20,3 cm x 10,7-14 cm. Sammelrahmen.
Six studies with stage designs. Watercolour and pencil on paper. Each signed, dated 1920 or 1922, inscribed by the artist and with red stamp "Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar". Archive stamps on the reverse.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
