(1743 Paris - 1809 ibid) nachPluto the rape of Proserpina bronze, dark patina. On a round plinth of Pluto standing, with his right Arm, the themselves to their fate, resulting from the Proserpine fully. The Detail is very finely executed moulding of the 19th century. Century founder of the famous group of Sèvres biscuit porcelain, the Boziot in 1786, exhibited in the Paris Salon. Boizot studied at the Academy and won in 1762, the Prix de Rome for a stay at the French Academy in Rome (1765-1770). From 1773 to 1800 Boizot directed the sculpture workshop of the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres; in 1778, he was admitted to the Académie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture and took part up to 1800 every year in Salons. From 1805 he held a chair at the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Boizot is one of the most in-demand and most important sculptors of his time, he received orders from the court, many of his sculptures were later executed in Bronze.
