LUDWIGSBURG coffee set from the era of King Friedrich I. 1806-1816, RARE! White porcelain in the then modern Empire form, surrounding gold edge and stylized leaf and flower border, consisting of 12 cups (1 handle glued, 1 x min. chip on the base ring), 12 saucers, 1 coffee pot, H 17.5 cm, 1 milk jug and 1 sugar bowl, all 12 cups, the sugar bowl and two of the saucers, marked in gold or in reddish color with 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) under the crown. 10 saucers, jug and milk jug not marked (partly only scratch marks). In relation to the age only slightly rubbed, partly fire and glaze defects, otherwise in very good condition according to age.
Attached is a copy of a document from around 1900 that proves the provenance from family property before 1835.
