LUI Rummler, auch in den Schreibweisen Rommler oder Rommley tätig, studierte an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, u.a. bei Joseph Beuys. Seine Ölbilder stehen unter dem Einfluss der expressiven Malerei der 1920er Jahre und den Tendenzen der Neuen Sachlichkeit. Oberfläche leicht verschm., part. mit Kratzspuren, leicht verfärbt. Rahmen. Provenienz: Privatsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen.

His oil paintings are influenced by the expressive painting of the 1920s and the tendencies of the New Objectivity. Surface slightly soiled, partly with scratches, slightly discoloured. Frame.
