Nicht bei Adams. - Ein Jahr nach dem Erstdruck erschienene Ausgabe von einem der bedeutendsten frühen Sermone Luthers, mit der ersten Ausführung der Grundlagen zur protestantischen Sittenlehre. Das Werk ist Herzog Johann von Sachsen, dem Bruder des Kurfürsten gewidmet. In einem Brief an Spalatin erwähnt Luther das vorliegende Werk und bezeichnet es selbt als das beste, was er bisher geschrieben hat. Luther, der sich selbst auf dem Titel noch als Augustiner bezeichnet, trug noch bis 1524 die Kutte seines Ordens. - Die kunstvolle Titelbordüre mit 2 Säulen, tanzenden Putten und 3 Halbfiguren; siehe dazu Johnson Taf. 27 und vgl. Pflug-Hartung Taf. 44 (zur Ausg. 1520). - Tls. etw. fleckig, einige Bl. mit kl. Randläs., 2 Bibl.-St.a.T., Innengelenke brüchig, Vors. erneuert. - Exlibris. - (12) - With woodcut title border. Modern half leather. Partly somewhat stained, few sheets with margin damages, hinges cracked, endpapers renewed.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
