Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 16,5 mm. An beiden Enden des achtkantigen Laufsegments fein geschnittener Rankendekor auf goldunterlegtem Grund. Über der Kammer zwei undeutliche Laufmachermarken zwischen in Gold eingelegten Blattmotiven. Schwanzschraubenblatt mit tief gestochenem Blattdekor. Leicht graviertes und geschnittenes Miqueletschloss, auf der Platte signiert "Thomaso Contino". Reich verschnittene Halbschäftung aus Nussbaumholz mit aufwendig gearbeiteter Messinggarnitur. Reich reliefierter Akanthus- und Trophäendekor auf fein ziseliertem silberunterlegten Grund. Dazwischen halbplastisch in Silber aufgelegte antikisierende Portraitköpfe. Auf der Kolbenkappe das Familienwappen der adeligen italienischen Familie "Tasstii". Ein reich reliefierter Laufring. Eingeschobener hölzerner Ladestock mit eisernem Kugelkrätzer. Länge 140 cm.
Two-stage smooth-bore barrel, octagonal then round, in 16.5 mm calibre. Finely chased decorative tendrils on a gold-inlaid background at both ends of the octagonal barrel segment. Two illegible barrel maker's marks between gold-inlaid leaf motifs at the breech. The tang with deeply etched foliage décor. Lightly engraved, chiselled miquelet lock, the plate signed "Thomaso Contino". The half stock made of lavishly carved walnut with elaborately crafted brass furniture. Abundant acanthus and trophy decoration in relief on a finely chased background, underlaid in silver. Interspersed with antique-style portrait heads in half relief, appliquéd in silver. The coat of arms of the noble Italian "Tasstii" family on the butt cap. One barrel band richly decorated in relief. Wooden ramrod with iron worm. Length 140 cm.
