Brünierter achtkantiger Lauf, in der Mitte versetzte Gratung mit fein gekehlten Kanten. Zwölffach gezogene Seele im Kaliber 13 mm. Eingeschobenes gebläutes Korn, justierbare Kimme. Auf der Laufoberseite fein in Gold eingelegte Signatur "Nowotny in leitmeritz", am Laufansatz goldeingelegte Blattranken. Fein graviertes und geschnittenes Schwanzschraubenblatt mit Darstellung des Hl. Georg zu Pferd. Schloss mit tief gestochenem Rankendekor, dazwischen zwei Fabelwesen. Abzug mit Rückstecher. Fein verschnittene Halbschäftung aus schön gemasertem Wurzelholz. Gekehlter Kolben mit fein geschnitztem Rankendekor. Der Schaft im Schlossbereich mit durchgehendem Riss. Eiserne Garnitur mit fein geschnittenem und graviertem floralen Dekor. Länge 42 cm.
Matthias Nowotny, tätig um 1825-56. Arbeitete zunächst in Leitmeritz in Böhmen und siedelte 1838 nach Wien über. Ab 1852 verpachtete er sein Geschäft an Johann Springer, Hoflieferant.

Blued octagonal barrel, with offset grooves and finely bevelled edges in the centre. Rifled with twelve grooves in 13 mm calibre. Blued dovetail front sight, adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel with fine gold-inlaid signature "Nowotny in leitmeritz", the lower end of the barrel decorated with gold-inlaid scrolling foliage. Finely engraved and chiselled tang depicting Saint George on horseback. Lock with deeply etched scrollwork and two mythical creatures. Trigger with set trigger. Finely carved half stock of finely grained root wood. Fullered buttstock with finely carved scrollwork. The stock with continuous crack near the lock. Iron mounts with finely chiselled and engraved floral décor. Length 42 cm.
Matthias Nowotny, active around 1825-56. Worked initially in Leitmeritz, Bohemia, and moved to Vienna in 1838. In 1852 he leased his shop to Johann Springer, Royal warrant holder.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
