Achtkantiger, mittig leicht eingezogener Lauf aus wildem Damast. Siebenfach gezogene Seele im Kaliber 14,5 mm. Eingeschobene Visierung mit Klappkimme. Über der Kammer in Silber eingelegter Rankendekor. Fein graviertes Steinschloss, auf der Schlossplatte die Darstellung eines Trommel schlagenden Puttos. Die Halterung der Batteriefeder mit geschnittenem und durchbrochen gearbeitetem Dekor, am Batterieansatz ein geschnittener Groteskenkopf mit in Gold eingelegtem Auge. Teils verdeckte Signatur "...ANN À ANSBACH". Abzug mit Stecher. Deutscher Schaft aus reich gemasertem Wurzelahornholz(?) mit Nase, Ladestockröhren, Schaftkappe und weiteren Einlagen aus dunklem Horn. Reiche Silberdrahteinlagen mit eingestreuten Blüten (kleine Defekte am unteren Kolbenansatz). Auf der Wange ein ungedeutetes Wappen mit Fürstenkrone. Kolbenkasten mit federverriegeltem Schubdeckel. Fein gravierter und geschnittener Abzugsbügel mit Darstellung der Jagdgöttin Diana. Hölzerner Ladestock mit Horndopper. Länge 94 cm.
Wohl von einem Mitglied der in Dresden und Ansbach tätigen Büchsenmacherfamilie Haman gefertigte Luxuswaffe für einen fürstlichen Auftraggeber.

The octagonal barrel slightly constricted in the middle, in wild Damascus. Seven-groove rifled bore in 14.5 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights with folding rear sight. Silver-inlaid decorative tendrils at the breech. Finely engraved flintlock, the lock plate with a depiction of a putti beating a drum. The frizzen spring support with chiselled, openwork embellishment, a chiselled grotesque mask with a gold-inlaid eye on the base of the frizzen. The signature "...ANN À ANSBACH" partially concealed. Set trigger. German stock in beautifully grained maple wood (?), the nose, ramrod ferrules, butt plate and other inlays in dark horn. Lavish silver wire inlays interspersed with floral ornaments (minor defects on the lower root of the butt). An unidentified coat of arms with prince's crown on the cheek piece. The sliding lid of the patch box with a spring catch. Finely engraved and chiselled trigger guard with a depiction of Diana, goddess of the hunt. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 94 cm.
This magnificent weapon was probably commissioned for a royal patron from a member of the Haman gunsmith family working in Dresden and Ansbach.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
