Date: Around 1720-30.
Technique: Green-blue marbled glass mass, translucent red against the light, blown into shape.
Description: On a flat, rectangular base with slanted corners, a short baluster stem with a
funnel-shaped, angular cup. The corners also slanted. The base and cup are polished to a
matt finish in the recesses, the raised fields are polished in geometric shapes.
Measurement: Height 17,5cm.

Michael Kovaceck, Galerie Kovaceck, Vienna, here it is described as a possible experimental piece from a Bohemian glassworks.
Similar pieces of agate glass, made at slightly earlier dates, are to be found for example in the art collections of the Veste Coburg and the Dresden Museum of Decorative Art.
