First two volumes and a part of the third of the rare magazine founded and directed by Princess Christina of Belgiojoso which was published in issues of about 80 pages from March 1846 to February 1848. The magazine is particularly important for literary history because it reports, in the first edition , the famous "Letter on Romanticism" by Alessandro Manzoni, originally written in 1823 and addressed to the future father-in-law Cesare d'Azeglio. The letter was published here (perhaps without her consent) as the first article after the introductory one on the state of Italy.
