1935/36 wurden insgesamt sieben Schwarzhemd-Divisionen ins Leben gerufen mit knapp 120.000 Mann. Die meisten davon kämpften zur Unterstützung der regulären Truppen im Italienisch-Äthiopischen Krieg unter Graziani. Die 6. Division bestand aus vier Legionen, der 219°, 220°, 221° und 321° Legione CC.NN., mit überwiegend freiwilligen, im Ausland rekrutierten Italienern oder Veteranen.

Maresciallo d'Italia Rodolfo Graziani - a splendid presentation dagger of the "Ufficiali della 221° Legione CC.NN." for his achievements in the "Campagna d'Africa", circa 1936/37
Designed in the style of the MVSN dagger blade (somewhat spotty) with central ridge, "Campagna d'Africa" inscription on the obverse. The silver pommel in the form of a stylised eagle head, applied in gold on the reverse the coat of arms of Graziani as Marchese di Neghelli with palm trees, eagle, and crossed cannons (?) surmounted by a crown and as breastplate of an eagle. The quillons also made of silver with the Latin motto "ense et aratro" (sword and plough) and eagle feathers, respectively, terminating in talons. The ergonomic grip made of iridescent layers of light and dark agate. The heavy silver scabbard finely decorated on the obverse with laurel and oak leaves over a stippled base and an applied silver lictor bundle. Underneath the locket the engraved gift dedication "Gli ufficiali della 221° Legione CC.NN. - Al Maresciallo Rodolpho Graziani". The smooth back with silver belt clip. Length of dagger 30.5 cm, overall length 33.5 cm.
In 1935/36, a total of seven Black Shirt divisions were created with just under 120,000 men. Most of them fought to support the regular troops in the Italian-Ethiopian War under Graziani. The 6th Division consisted of four legions, the 219°, 220°, 221° and 321° Legione CC.NN., with mostly volunteers, Italians recruited abroad or veterans.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
