Approx. 18 × 18 × 18cm, original 3-piece Mahagonibox with original ivory plate, signed and numbered, case and movement number are the same 6357, brass case with gimbaled suspension, Spring chronometer movement with a gold pen, cylindrical spiral, signed and numbered, silvered dial with 56-hour power reserve indicator, gorgeous, solid red gold hands, functional Box including key. Victor Kullberg was on 13. August 1824, was born in Visby on the island Gotland. He was the son of Johan Kullberg (1800-1876) and Hedvig Christina Ahlström (1801-1840).Kullberg graduated from 1840 onwards, a watchmaker's apprenticeship with a local clock, and chronometer maker Victor Söderberg. His professional training was realized by the most famous watchmaker of Scandinavia Louis Urban Jürgensen in Copenhagen. At the age of 27, he travelled in 1851 to the world exhibition in London and established there the makers of the contacts to the other chronometer. He then opened in 1856 in Liverpool Road 105, a own manufactory. It ship's chronometer and precision pocket watches were manufactured.
