Berthold, Markgraf von Baden (1906 - 1963), Sohn des letzten kaiserlichen Reichskanzlers Prinz Max von Baden, war seit 1928 Chef des Hauses Baden. 1933 setzte er sich erfolgreich bei Hitler für die Freilassung des vom NS-Regime inhaftierten Politikers und Pädagogen Kurt Hahn ein, den Gründer der Schule Schloss Salem.
Prinzessin Theodora ("Dotta") von Griechenland (1906 - 1969) war die Schwester des 2021 verstorbenen Prinzen Philip, Duke of Edinburgh und Gemahl der englischen Königin Elisabeth II. Auf Anraten seiner Schwester Theodora besuchte Philip ab 1933 ebenfalls die Schule Schloss Salem.

Gefaltetes Doppelblatt mit Blindprägesiegel und originaler Tintenunterschrift von König Max II., datiert München, 11.10.1853. Dazu ein Schreiben des Oberstallmeister-Stabes vom 21.8.1852, den Austritt Hertlings aus dem "königl. Edelknaben-Institute" betreffend, unterschrieben vom Oberstallmeister Wilhelm Freiherr von Freyberg und vom Pagenhofmeister Müller. Faltspuren, Knicke, etwas gebräunt, vereinzelt leicht fleckig, minimale Einrisse. Maße je 34 x 21 cm.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
