Fein gearbeiteter, leicht unterlebensgroßer Marmorkopf eines Knaben mit dicken Lidern, aus denen freundliche Augen leicht nach oben blicken. Die Backenknochen ausgeprägt, der Mund zu einem Lächeln geformt. Der Knabe trägt eine glatte Kappe, die seinen Hinterkopf bedeckt. Unter der Kappe, die an den Petasos des Hermes erinnert, quellen dicke, gebohrte Locken hervor, die in die Stirn und über die Schläfen fallen.
Nase bestoßen mit alter Restaurierung, Fehlstelle am Kinn. Kappe leicht bestoßen, sonst von exzellenter Qualität. Abmessungen 17 x 12 x 13 cm. Höhe mit Sockel 26 cm. Gewicht 3,8 kg.

A Roman marble head of a boy wearing a cap, 2nd - 3rd century
Finely modelled, slightly smaller-than-life marble head of a boy with contoured eyelids and kind eyes gazing slightly upwards. Distinct cheek bones, the lips forming a smile. The boy wears a smooth cap covering the back of his head. Protruding from under the cap, which resembles Hermes's petasos, thick pierced curls which fall on the boy's forehead and temples. Nose bumped with old repair, loss at the chin. The cap slightly bumped, otherwise of excellent quality. Dimensions 17 x 12 x 13 cm, with base 26 cm. Weight 3.8 kg.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
