Anmerkung: In der Literatur wird eine ähnlich späte Ausführung wie hier aufgeführt. Vgl. Erickson, The Broomhandle Pistol 1896 - 1936, S. 193. Alle sonstigen 20-Lader sind mit Conehammer, wenige mit Flat Side, und gingen nach Südamerika. Nach Angaben des Einlieferers soll diese C 96 aus einer Lieferung von zehn Stück zur Erprobung nach Bolivien stammen.

Cal. 7,63mmMauser, SN. 547, matching numbers, incl. grips. Barrel length 140 mm, matte bore. Proof marks Double-Crown/"U". Rear sights graduated 50 - 1000. Large magazine housing. Diameter of floor plate bolt 4,8 mm. Short extractor. Three-line maker's mark on top of chamber, two-line on the right-hand side of the receiver. The finish > 98%, most probably original, some minor scratches on the lower breech end of the barrel. Hammer and lock frame case hardened. Extractor and small parts fire blued. Dark walnut grips. Lanyard ring missing. The bolt is hard to open, most likely caused by resinified oil. Overall condition almost as new.
A similar pattern gun can be located in the book by Erickson, "The Broomhandle Pistol 1896 - 1936", on page 193. Most known 20-Loaders feature a cone hammer, some a Flatside receiver, and were delivered to Latin America. According to the consignor this C96 is one of 10 shipped to Bolivia for Army trials.

Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
