€ 12 000
Oberndorf a.N. / Pist. Kal. 6,35 Mod. 27". Originale Streichbrünierung. Hahn gelb angelassen. Waffe minimal bespielt, in nahezu neuer Erhaltung.

Mauser Mod. 27: a mystery gun - one-of-a-kind prototype
Cal. 6,35 mm Brown., SN. 1, the serial number “1” found on almost all parts of the gun. Bright bore, barrel length 78 mm, six grooves. Magazine for nine rounds. No modern proof marks. This gun resembles the Model 1910 with external hammer and dovetailed rear sight. On the left side of the lockplate large Mauser barrel with three-line marking "Mauser - Werke A.G. / Oberndorf a.N. / Pist. Kal. 6,35 Mod. 27". Original brush finish. Strawed hammer. Fire blued barrel release and trigger. Single piece walnut grip with rounded back. Magazine with three vertical windows, the bottom with a small Mauser barrel. The gun with hardly any signs of usage, in almost as-new condition.
This gun is most likely the only ever built prototype of a Mod. 27, and was hitherto virtually unheard of. In 1970 it was sent to Mauser for a factory assessment, which is included ("Beurteilung der Mauser-Pistole, cal. 6,35 mm Mod. 27, Nr. 1", signed by Mr. Vorgrimmler, the CEO of Mauser) and will be handed to the buyer, together with further correspondence with Mauser.
WBK: Attention - For this gun we will need to obtain an export license for you, based on your import permit (if needed in your country) or through your firearms dealer
