Medusenhaupt von Carl ("Carlo") Kornhaas. Reliefplastisch gestaltetes Tondo aus Keramik (Irdenware) mit farbiger Bemalung und lüstrierten Glasuren. Unikat, gezeigt 1897 auf der VII. Internationalen Kunstausstellung in München. Original-Rahmen, Etikett der Kunstausstellung in München 1897 mit handschriftlicher Bez., Beschreibung u. eigenhändiger Unterschrift. Relief-D. ca. 31,5 cm; Rahmen ca. 46 cm x 46 cm.
Kornhaas (1857 - 1931) lebte und arbeitete 1880/81-1895 in Italien. 1895 wurde Kornhaas Lehrer an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Karlsruhe, wo er eine keramische Fachabteilung und Modellierklasse leitete, 1898-1922 als Professor. Er beschickte zahlreiche nationale und internationale Ausstellungen, seine besondere Spezialität waren Lüsterglasuren.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
