Modell von Johann Joachim Kaendler und Johann Friedrich Eberlein 1738, ovaler Korpus auf vier plastischen Volutenfüßen aus Fischen und Maskaronköpfen im Wechsel, Handhaben in Form von männlichen Meeresbewohnern, seitliche Kartuschen mit Blumenmalereien sowie umlaufend applizierte Girlande mit Muscheln, Blüten, Korallen und Meerestieren, Deckel mit Galatea auf einem wasserspeienden Fisch reitend, umarmt von Acis, beide halten sich an der bogenförmigen Draperie fest, die als Deckelknauf dient, Gold- und Farbstaffage, ugl.-blaue Schwertermarke, Modellnummer 05018, leichte Beschädingungen (tlw. lose anbei), H 43 cm.
Als mögliche Kupferstichvorlage der Deckelfiguren könnten Stiche von Carlo Cesio nach Annibale Caraccis Deckenfresko der Villa Farnese in Rom gedient haben.

Designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein 1738 polychrome decoration, gilding, oval corpus with handle of male sea-figures, feet made of fish and mascaron heads, Galatea and Acis as lid figures holding a drapery, blue swordmark, model-no. 05018, lightly damaged, h 43 cm.
A model could have been an engraving by C. Cesio after the fresco of Annibale Caracci in the Villa Farnese in Rom.
